With built-in steam ovens, the 38-litre cavity is heated by MultiSteam technology: eight steam inlet ports allow for an incredibly fast build-up of steam which is distributed quickly, giving consistently fantastic results. Our freestanding steam ovens – with a capacity of 24 litres and firm favourites in smaller kitchens – adopt PureSteam technology which ensures a whole range of foods can be cooked to perfection using only 100% pure steam. What’s more, with the external steam generation, both built-in and freestanding ovens never have the problem of limescale build-up in the cavity, making cleaning a quick and easy task.

When it comes to the actual cooking, every steam oven in our range delivers excellence, meal after meal. The adjustable temperature range – from 40 to 100⁰C – means you can prepare a huge variety of dishes, including tender, slow-cooked beef stews, double-boiled winter melon soup, succulent, steamed chicken breast or fresh, al dente spring vegetables.

As convenience is central to our busy lives, all our Miele steam ovens allow you to cook on multi levels simultaneously without transfer of flavour, saving time and effort. A full course lunch or dinner with rice, meat and vegetables can be cooked up easily in just half an hour; what’s better than serving all dishes hot at the same time? And there’s no need to constantly check your food as it’s cooking, or add water. Nothing will burn, even though the oven can cook for hours on end.
